It is the first reptile known to be bio-fluorescent

It’s not just the guys from NASA that are discovering the most amazing things – they claim to have found water on Mars – a group of marine biologists have made a really amazing discovery here on Earth as well.
They accidentally found a neon glowing turtle while filming a documentary on bio-fluorescence in coral and small sharks off the coast of the Solomon Islands. The hawksbill turtle is the very first reptile known to be bio-fluorescent.
Marine biologist David Gruber even remarked that the creature almost looked like a bright red and green spaceship, according to report in the Metro.
