The who's who from the TV and movie industry will be staging a play in the city
The first week of October is going to be a busy week for Dramanon. Besides SKitS, a 12-minute play competition, which will be judged by eminent theatre personalities and the audience, the group is also getting a play to town.
Rage Production, a theatre group based out of Mumbai, will be staging their play One On One 2 in city on Sunday. The play features monologues by the artists, talking about a range of subjects. Rajit Kapur, Neil Bhoopalam, Anu Menon (Lola Kutty) and Vrajesh Hirjee among others are a part of the cast.
“We want to expose the audience of Hyderabad to quality theatre. Their production values are really high and people are interested to watch plays that stars celebrities in it,” says R.K. Shenoy, founder, Dramanon, adding, “People find it difficult to get such quality theatre to the city because it is very expensive and hence it took us months of planning and execution to get everything right. I’m sure people will like it.”
