Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Legislature Party is not at all perturbed by the Hyderabad High Court verdict that rejected its petition seeking disqualification of MLAs who defected to TRS.
It said it will wait for response from the Speaker for a few more days and if he still does not take a decision, the party will file an appeal in the Supreme Court.
TD leaders who met to take stock of the fallout of the HC orders, told reporters later that the HC categorically stated that the Speaker should expedite the decision on all pending disqualification petitions. This, they said, was not a loss to the party, but a moral victory.
