Hyderabad: In a late night fight at a coffee shop in Banjara Hills, the owner of the joint allegedly attacked a youth. An argument between the youth and the owner led to the fight after the victim spilled water on the floor. The incident happened on Sunday night at Skypark Coffee Shop on Road No: 12.
Shad Jaffer Jabri, 19, a resident of Anandnagar came to the coffee shop at around 11.30 pm. After placing his order he took a water bottle and opened it. The bottle accidentally slipped from his hands and water fell on the floor and some other customers. The owner of the coffee shop, Mr Mukram, came yelling at him and an argument broke out.
After sometime, Mukram sent out all customers and then he and his friend Aziz attacked Jaffer on the face and back. Meanwhile, Mukram informed his friends and nearly 15 youths from Anandnagar colony came to the spot.
“A police patrol was very close to the spot. They suspected trouble, rushed to the spot and dispersed the groups,” said Banjara Hills inspector Murali Krishna. Police registered a case against Mukram under Section 324 and issued a notice to Mukram to appear before them for inquiry.
