He is gearing up with his next titled Kathakali

Even as his recently released Paayum Puli completed its 25 days run at the theaters, Vishal who has resolved to come out with a movie once in every four months is gearing up with his next titled Kathakali. The actor is teaming up with national award-winning filmmaker Pandiraj and Catherine Tresa has been roped in as his love interest. It is a well-known fact that films without a Tamil title will not be given a tax waiver. Quiz Vishal, who also produces the movie in his home banner, he says, “Kathakali is a Tamil colloquial word used in expressions like ‘kathakali aada thayaraayittan’ (he is ready for the ‘game’). We checked and clarified with the authorities concerned that it is a Tamil word and then titled the movie.”
Talking about Kathakali, the shoot of which is almost over he says, “Pandiraj had the complete script even before we commenced our shoot. That’s why we were able to finish it so quickly. Only ten days of work is left. The movie is a whodunit thriller, which is happening in a day while the lead character travels between Chennai and Kadalur.” Meanwhile, reacting to Sarath Kumar’s defamation case notice filed on him, Vishal said, “We will handle it legally.”
