Salman ready with his own reality show

Much like Bigg Boss, the show will see celebs on board

At the media briefing for Bigg Boss Season 9, Salman Khan, who is back hosting the show after leaving it midway the last season, said that he was finalising the blueprint of his own show, tentatively titled Farm.

Much like Bigg Boss, the show will see celebs on board. However, instead of being confined to a house, they will be in a village setting, farming, harvesting and even milking cows.

“I have already begun working on the Farm’s concept. A proper farmer will be guiding celebrities to do farming on a daily basis. They will also learn to milk cows and buffaloes. “Along with loads of entertainment, the show will be enriching for farmers too. The format is in the process of being finalized and it will be made my our production house,” Salman said.

Meanwhile, the media interaction for Bigg Boss Season 9 did not get off to a good start as the media personnel were made to wait in the hot sun for a few hours before being invited in. Such was the apathy of the channel people that a senior journalist had to threaten a staff that he would complain to Salman if he was not given a glass of water. Needless to say, the water was promptly produced.

When asked why he quit the show midway last season, Salman says vaguely, “Yes…sometimes the fights between the contestants get on to my nerves…I probably quit because of that.” Praising director Farah Khan, who had taken over after he left, he says, “But the show garnered huge TRPs after Farah started hosting the show. Isn’t it?”

Asked whether this season he would give the contestants a piece of his mind if they fought in the BB house, he says, “Why? Am I their father or a family member that I should take the responsibility of disciplining them?”

When sallu was asked about Aishwarya!

Towards the end of the event, a question from one of the scribes provided an interesting conclusion to the course of events. Salman chose not to talk much and settled down at “jazbaati sawal” when a scribe quizzed him whether Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would be invited on Bigg Boss 9 to promote her upcoming film Jazbaa. There have been reports that the actress might just visit the sets to do so.

When asked about the same, Salman said pointing at the journalist, “This had to be the last question before the PR takes away the mike. Please clap for this madam. Jazbaati sawal kar diya.” Then later he broke into a song Aate Jaate Jo Milta Hai, as the photo-ops began.
