Salman Khan invites ex-inmates to launch Bigg Boss season 9
The actor promises this year it will be 'bigger and better'
Mumbai: Salman Khan is back with a bang with the fresh new season of Bigg Boss, and this time the theme is bigger and better.
The 49-year-old 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' star, who had been hosting the show for the past five seasons, quit after the last instalment "Bigg Boss Halla Bol". Over the years, Salman's presence has undoubtedly been one of the major highlights of the show, which sees a bunch of celebrities locked up together inside a house for three months.
Last year before the eighth season came to an end, Salman said that he was reluctant to return to the show as he had an extremely "tiring and painful" experience hosting the show.
However, he couldn’t stay way from the sets and its drama for too long. The actor on Monday, held a special conference and called on a few ex-inmates to the show. Salman, being the thorough entertainer he is, kept mum about the tiny details of the show as he ‘didn’t want to ruin the suspense’.
Salman kick started the event with a little jig and later called on the show’s former contestants that included Rajiv Paul, Siddharth Bhardwaj, Gautam Gulati, Puneet Issar, Pritam Singh, Mahek Chahal, Ali Quli Mirza, Karishma Tanna and Praneet Bhatt.
Salman made the contestants sit in two witness boxes and played a quiz of 'Double Trouble'. The actor went on ask the ex-contestants about their experience of the show and much, much more.
Stay tuned for more details from the ‘Bigg Boss 9’ launch.
