Rajnath Singh hits out at Pakistan
Lucknow: Union home minister Rajnath Singh has said that India’s borders with Pakistan and China are ‘very sensitive’ and adequate security arrangements have been made.
The minister, who was talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function here on Saturday, said that Pakistan is waging a proxy war against India and this is evident from the repeated ceasefire violations that are taking place. “Pakistan has been regularly violating ceasefire agreements but India is also giving befitting reply,” he said.
The minister said that the Modi government has come down heavily against infiltration as a result of which 130 terrorists were killed while sneaking into Indian territory since 2014.
In 2013, 110 terrorists were killed in similar circumstances and 67 were killed in 2012.
