Patient attempts suicide in Andhra Pradesh

He is resident of Miyapur and works as a daily wage earner
Hyderabad: A 35-year-old man who was admitted at NIMS hospital, attempted suicide by jumping off from the sixth floor of the hospital building. Krishna, a native of East Godavari district from Andhra Pradesh, suffered minor injuries and was admitted back to the hospital.
He is resident of Miyapur and works as a daily wage earner. He came to NIMS hospital a few months ago for treatment of heart complications. After check-up, doctors informed him that his heart valves were blocked and needs to be operated.
On Saturday, he came to the hospital at around 5.30pm and was admitted at the Ward number 6 in the second floor of the old building.
“Suddenly, he came out of the ward and jumped off the building. He seem to be suffering with mental depression,” said Punjagutta SI Srinivasulu. Krishna, admitted that he jumped off the building deliberately. He suffered minor injuries.
