Andhra Pradesh gets Rs 975 crore from Nabard
Hyderabad: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development has allotted Rs 975 crore to AP under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund. The government has sanctioned Rs 126.25 crore as its share.
Nabard has allotted the funds according to the scheme and the department to take up infrastructure works. The government wants to change some allotments. The panchayat raj department gets Rs 110 crore, roads and buildings Rs 100 crore, construction of health centres Rs 100 crore, horticulture department Rs 125 crore, Rs 100 crore for animal husbandry among others.
Among the changes, the AP finance department has suggested that Rs 50 crore of the allotment to the animal husbandry department should be allotted to fisheries infrastructure. The state wants to limit allocation to the tribal welfare department to Rs 110 crore.
