Brethren remember Mina victims on Id
Moulana Qari Rizwan Qureshi led the prayers at Miralam Idgah
Hyderabad: Thousands of Muslims who gathered at various Idgahs and mosques in the city for Id-ul-Zuha prayers on Friday prayed for the pilgrims who had lost their lives in the stampede at Al Jamarat in the tent city Mina near Mecca on Thursday.
The muftis who led Id prayers at prominent Idaghs in the city including Seven Tombs and Miralam Tank offered special duas (supplication) for the speedy recovery of those injured.
Moulana Qari Rizwan Qureshi led the prayers at Miralam Idgah while Moulana Mateen Ali Shah lead the prayers at Idgah Qutubshahi near Seven Tombs in Golconda and Shaikul Adab Jamia Nizamia.
Moulana Saifullah and Moulana Hussamuddin Sani Jafer Pasha, who had made special speeches at Miralam Idgah, prayed for the departed souls in the tragedy.
Referring to the growing unrest in various Muslim countries across the globe, Ulemas and Muslim priests accused the United States as being responsible for the human massacre and unrest and prayed for the safety and security of Muslims across the world.
Interestingly, some Ulemas and priests also made special applications for 12 per cent reservation to Muslims after Namaz-e-Id.
