Desi girl Priyanka Chopra rocks Time Square for 'Quantico' promotions
The actress may be going places, doing thing and creating history on the way, but that didn’t stop the star from taking the New York subway train to Times Square.
Priyanka appeared on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ to promote her upcoming show, which is set to air in the US on September 27.
PeeCee has bee creating quite a buzz with this new show that will see the star play an FBI agent framed for a crime she didn’t commit.
When talking about the show, Priyanka said that it has been shot in two timeframes; the present and the past. The show will start off with the star being framed for the bombing of the White house.
‘Quantico’, that will only air in India on October 2, has also been rated as one of the top 10 shows to watch this fall.
Apart from making her television appearances, PC has also featured in a number of magazines in the US, rating her as one of the top rising television stars.
The actress, who also has over 45 movies and three international hit singles under her belt, went on to talk about movies, her singing career and her new television venture in the interview.
Priyanka is the first Indian actress to bag a leading role in a television series abroad. Commenting on this she said that she doesn’t like to think of this new venture as ‘making history’ as it stresses her out.
During the interview, Priyanka also spoke about a few funny instances in her career that helped her get this far.
She also taught the crew a few Bollywood moves and had them shaking their hips to ‘Bang Bang’.
The star was later seen enthusiastically posing with her fans and clicking a number of selfies.
