Where is Rahul Gandhi? Congress asks BJP to disclose Narendra Modi's plans
New Delhi: The Congress Party, which has been facing political flak for not being able to disclose the exact whereabouts of its vice president Rahul Gandhi, on Friday dared the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to disclose Prime Minister Narendra Modi's plans and where he was actually headed.
"The Bharatiya Janata Party must get over its obsession of Rahul Gandhi. Rahul may be anywhere, they (BJP) should do their work. They should ask their prime minister where he is and what are his plans. They can't ask him," Congress leader Ghulam nabi Azad told ANI.
"The BJP fears that Rahul Gandhi may have visited Bihar and they are unaware of it," he added.
He further urged the BJP not to discuss personal matters. The Congress Party is on record as saying that Gandhi is in Aspen, Colorado, attending a conference on the basis of a personal invite. It has also said that Gandhi will continue to lead the party's Bihar campaign as also in the rest of the country.
The BJP, however, said that the Congress Party always contradicts itself on Gandhi and his frequent absences.
