Hyderabad: Two persons from Guntur district died in an accident in Nalgonda district on Thursday. Their bike was hit by a truck from behind. The deceased were identified as M. Achi Reddy and his son-in-law M. Venkatesh-warlu.
Achi Reddy’s daughter Venkatanarsamma and her husband Venkates-warlu were staying at Dorakunta village in Nalgonda district.
On Thursday morning, Achi Reddy, Venkates-warlu, Roshamma and Narsanna started from Tummalacheruvu on two bikes. “When they reached the outskirts of Sitarampuram village a truck hit the bike on which Achi Reddy and Venkateshwarlu were traveling,” said SI Kranti Kumar. Achi Reddy died on the spot, while Venkat-eswarlu succumbed on way to hospital.
