CM Oommen Chandy’s wall to gather public response
The public will be able to share their appreciation for any praiseworthy service received from any government official on the Wal
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The good initiatives of government employees often go unnoticed and hence the government is launching a social media platform to project the praiseworthy services rendered by government employees to the public.
‘Chief Minister’s Positive Wall’, the idea mooted by the Kerala State Innovation Council (KSIC), has been approved by the government the other day.
The Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (CDIT), which has been entrusted with the task of developing the application, hopes to create the Wall within a month.
In the initial phase it will be deployed in government departments and would later be extended to other government institutions.
The public will be able to share their appreciation for any praiseworthy service received from any government official on the Wall.
“Motivating government employees who do excellent service to the public is the basic idea behind the project,” said Kerala State IT Mission director Mr. Mohammed Y Safirulla.
KSIC mooted the idea with the objectives of promoting goodwill for government employees who do excellent work, motivate them to continue their good habits and help citizens share their appreciation of government employees.
