Actor Tharun is back in the industry after a long break. Since Sasirekha Parinayam in 2009, Tharun had not been active. Though a couple of his films had released, they had sunk without a trace.
Talking about his new film that was launched on Friday morning, Tharun says, “This is a remake of the Kannada hit film Simple Agi Ondh Love Story. It was a small budget film in Kannada but a huge hit. Producer Prakash bought the rights and we decided to do it in Telugu.”
He adds that it is a cute love story and mostly revolves around the lead pair. “I will appear in three to four get-ups in the film. We are planning to shoot the film in Udipi, Coorg and Hyderabad,” says Tharun, adding that the female lead has not been decided yet.
Ramesh and Gopi are the directors of this film, which is scheduled for a December release.
