Suvarna from the slums

Talking about her character Suvarna in Guntur Talkies, Rashmi Gautham says, “She grows up in a slum and behaves like that. It’s almost like a de-glamourised character as director

Praveen didn’t want me to have any make-up.” She adds that though the character is realistic, it does looks glamorous. “There are songs and a love track to my character,” she says.
“Though I have been in the film industry for a long time, this film is important for me. It’s going to be my re-launch,” she adds.

The actress is a household name with her popular TV show Jabardasth, where she anchors. “I always like to be in front of the camera, whether it’s for a film or a TV show,” she says.
