Anubhav Sinha and Bhushan Kumar to bring back 'Tum Bin' sequel after 14 years
Mumbai: Anubhav Sinha and Bhushan Kumar, who made their debut as director and producer with ‘Tum Bin’, are planning to take the franchise forward 14 years later.
Apparently, Bhushan called Anubhav and told him that he would go ahead with another director if he is not interested in scripting the film. In 2014, Anubhav stumbled upon a love story and discussed it with Bhushan. The producer soon handed him Rs 11 and sealed the deal.
The film will go on floor in Europe next year in Janurary. However, the original cast- Priyanshu Chatterjee, Sandali Sinha, Himanshu Malik and Rakesh Bapat will not return in ‘Tum Bin 2’. The makers are busy auditioning people for the roles and are expected to make an announcement soon.
Anubhav will be back on a film set after a break of year and a half. His last release was ‘Gulaab Gang’, which was his production. He had even directed the Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Ra. One’.
