Anamul Haque leads Bangladesh ‘A’ fightback
Mysuru: Following a dismal show in the first innings, Anamul Haque scored an aggressive 89 to lead Bangladesh ‘A’ fightback against Karnataka on the second day of the three-day tour game at the SDNR grounds here on Wednesday.
On the penultimate day, the Bangla opener Haque’s 87-ball 89 (8x4, 5x6) powered his side to 188 for three in the second innings. At end of day’s play, the visitors were 59 runs ahead.
For the hosts, off-spinner Udit Patel picked up two wickets. Earlier, Karnataka on 163 for 6 overnight, were bowled out for 288.
