Madhu Shalini is a part of the Kamal Haasan-starrer Thoongavanam, which is expected to hit screens on Diwali. The Hyderabadi beauty, who will be seen in a crucial role in this action thriller, is walking on air for having shared the screen with Haasan.
Madhu says, “I have always been a huge admirer of Kamal and consider myself extremely fortunate to have acted alongside him. This has been my most memorable experience till date.”
Madhu says that other actors have a lot to learn from Haasan when it comes to giving inputs based on creativity while emoting a scene. “I have observed that Kamal and Sridevi are two actors who are best at doing this — hence I have always looked up to both of them,” she says.
One of the first-look posters of the film had Kamal kissing a girl without revealing her identity. Though many assumed it was Trisha, it was later known that Madhu was the girl.
“We wanted to keep the suspense for a longer time. But, somehow it got revealed much before the anticipated time. The whole mystery surrounding that poster among movie buffs was fun,” Madhu says.
