Chiru’s role in Bruce Lee is a surprise
Srinu also says that for a change, he is showing Brahmanandam in a good manner in the film
Talking about the Ram Charan starrer Bruce Lee, which is set for an October 16 release, director Srinu Vaitla says that shooting is almost complete and only a few songs are remaining.
“We are working day and night and we are confident of releasing the film on the announced date.” Charan plays a stuntman in the film. “He is a big fan of Bruce Lee. The story revolves around him as a normal stuntman who faces an extraordinary situation and how he comes out of it,” reveals Srinu.
Talking about Chiranjeevi’s cameo in the film, the director says that he can’t reveal anything as it’s a surprise package. “We thought about Chiranjeevi right in the beginning. When we narrated the story to him, he agreed to do it. We didn’t put in his character deliberately, he will appear as the story demands. When you see the film, you will understand that his character fits naturally in the plot,” he adds.
Srinu also says that for a change, he is showing Brahmanandam in a good manner in the film. About Charan, he says that the actor’s comic timing is impeccable and he was surprised to see him doing the scenes with ease.
“This is the first time he is doing a complete entertainer and his comic timing is very good. He is working day and night to complete the film on time,” adds Srinu. The film’s audio will be released on October 2.
