Hansika is one ‘temple crazy’ actress who is in the habit of visiting nearby temples or gurdwaras, irrespective of big or small, in whichever place she is shooting. Recently, the Aranmanai actress was in Tiruchendur to attend a function organised by a media house along with Kamal Haasan and Sivakarthikeyan. After the function, she along with her mother Mona and brother Prashanth visited the famous Tiruchendur Temple, one of the six abodes of Lord Murugan.
Hansika, who is presently shooting in Puducherry for her upcoming film Pokkiri Raja, tells DC that she feels blessed for having attended special poojas at the seashore Murugan Temple. She says, “It was my long-time wish to make a visit to this temple which came true now! They had organised special archanai, which lasted for five hours with six types of naivedyams (offerings). We had given our names earlier to the temple personnel. It started at 9 am and lasted till 2.30 pm. The sooner did my function get over, I rushed to the temple and sat for about two hours in front of the Lord and prayed for the wellbeing of the 30 kids I had adopted some time back. I consider it as a truly blessed moment for me and my family.”
Looks like the ravishing girl is also a big fan of Kamal Haasan. She wrote on her microblog about her fan moment with the Ulaganayagan, and posted a picture. “My fan moment with Kamal sir! Such a humble personality. Living legend. Had such a wonderful time chatting with him.”
