Bipasha Basu to star in Rohan Sippy’s ‘The Client’ TV series

The actor will be seen playing a desi version of Olivia Pope from ABC’s drama ‘Scandal’

Mumbai: Anil Kapoor’s political TV thriller show ‘24’ was well received by the Indian audiences and this proved that there’s hope for such TV series in India. Now soon enough, we’ll get to see Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu starring in director Rohan Sippy’s upcoming TV series ‘The Client’.

Produced by Eros Now, ‘The Client’ will be an edgy action-packed 12-part mini-series in which Bipasha will be seen playing a desi version of Olivia Pope (played by Kerry Washington) from ABC’s drama ‘Scandal’.

According to reports, Bipasha’s character in the show is similar to that of Olivia Pope, who runs her own crisi-management firm. ‘The Client’ is a web series on the lines of 'Scandal', where we’ll see Bipasha playing a powerful top-notch political fixer based in Delhi. Bipasha plays the role of a woman who knows what she is doing and is extremely good at it. In a twisted and dirty world of men, Bipasha’s character has her own elite status. She is the perfect example of “beauty with brains”.

In the show, we’ll see Bipasha showing off her perfectly sculptured body in formal suits and classy dresses. Reportedly, the team of ‘The Client’ will start shooting for the show’s pilot in October. The star cast also includes some big faces from the world of entertainment.
