Mumbai: It was a shocking crash but thankfully nobody lost their life. 17-year-old Pedro Piquet, younger son of Formula One driver Nelson Piquet will live to tell the story when his car flipped nine times in the air before crashing down while he was racing in the Porsche GT3 Cup in Brazil on Sunday.
The young driver’s car made contact with another racer Ricardo Baptista after which the track was engulfed with a cloud of smoke and dust.
After receiving medical attention on the site at the Autodromo Internacional Ayrton Senna, Pedro was taken to a nearby hospital in Goiania for observation.

He later posted a picture of himself with bruises on his face on social media, along with the caption "just a small scare, I am fine up here. Thanks for all the support".
