Visakhapatnam: Congress to send 1 crore SMSes to BJP for tag

Visakhapatnam: Continuing their fight for special category status to Andhra Pradesh, the Congress has decided to launch a campaign to send one crore SMSes to Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Union Ministers from Wednesday.

National Students Union of India and Youth Congress will lead the campaign. City Congress president B. Bhaskara Rao told newsmen here on Monday that BJP has been cheating the people by not granting the special status where as TD remained silent over the issue. Congress leaders on Monday approached Commissioner of Police Amit Garg and ASP (Admin) D.N. Kishore requesting them to register cases against the PM Modi, Union Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu and CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu for cheating people of the state in the name of special category status to AP.

However, the cops threw the complaints into dustbins.
