Muhamed Nisham seeks bail again
The Thrissur District Collector invoked KAAPA against Nisham in March 2015
Kochi: Muhamed Nisham, the alleged accused in the Hummer murder case has moved the Kerala High Court seeking bail. Nisham who is at present lodged in Kannur central prison moved the court against the detention under the Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 2007 (KAAPA).
The Thrissur District Collector invoked KAAPA against Nisham in March 2015.
As per the act, the authorities can lodge him in jail for six months without trial. The high court will consider Nisham’s plea on Wednesday.
