Adilabad: Ministers vow to help farmers

They said state government will extend help to the distressed farmers

ADILABAD: Ministers Jogu Ramanna and Allola Indrakaran Reddy on Monday said the state government will extend help to the distressed farmers and prevent them from taking extreme step in the state.

While participating in the Zilla Parishad general body meeting, ministers expressed displeasure over the indifferent attitude of the some bankers towards the farmers and disbursing crop loans. Minister Jogu Ramanna found fault with the DEO Satyanaraya Reddy giving different versions on various issues and misguiding the elected public representatives.

MLAs including Koneru Konappa of Sirpur (T) and Durgam Chinnaiah of Bellampalli expressed their concern over shortage of teachers and doctors in government schools and primary health centres and said this situation causing much damage to the people in the district. Chairperson Shobha Rani presided over the meeting. MLAs Rathod Bapurao, Kova Laxmi, Vittal Reddy, Nallala Odelua and MP Godam Nagesh were present.
