Boeing unveils the first look of 737 MAX Wing flight

The winglet also increases its fuel efficiency by 1.8 per cent

Powered by the new Advanced Technology, Boeing unveiled the first look of its 737 MAX Wing flight, which is expected to fly by 2016. Boeing claims that the 737 MAX Efficiency delivers 8 per cent of lower operating costs than its main competitor. The new 737 MAX Advanced Technology winglet also increases its fuel efficiency by 1.8 per cent.

The 737 MAX in the first position on the newly completed production line in Renton, adjacent to one of the existing Next-Generation 737 production lines.

  • Reliability: The benefit of 99.7 per cent dispatch reliability is that the 737 MAX flight will avoid delaying over 65,000 passengers.
  • 737 MAX Passenger Appeal is found in the new Boeing Sky Interior, which dramatically elevates the passenger experience.
  • Performance: The superior fuel efficiency of the 737 MAX reduces carbon emissions. The quieter 737 MAX has a 40 per cent smaller noise footprint than today's single-aisle airplanes.

The Wing skin panels of the 737 MAX flight has been loaded into the new panel assembly line. The internal support structures in wings are also loaded into automated spar assembly machines. Technically, the panels and spars will be transformed into completed wings.

Boeing also stated that 737 MAX incorporates the latest technology CFM International LEAP-1B engines that can deliver a bettery passenger comfort in the single-aisle market.
