In Gandhinagar and Vadodara, the mobile Internet ban was lifted on Sunday as the situation remained peaceful after Saturday’s sporadic violence over the arrest of Hardik Patel, who said plans are being drawn up for “bigger” rallies in the state.
The Patel community of the US was, however, split over a rally against Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he visits the US this week as an influential group of the community said they are opposed to the idea of protest.
