Hyderabad: Man locks up wife with cop, accuses them of adultery
Hyderabad: A dramatic incident occurred at Shivaji nagar in Chatrinaka on Sunday when a man locked his wife and a police constable inside his house, alerted locals, and accused the cop of adultery.
The man, C. Channaiah, also alleged that his wife and the cop Madhusudhan Reddy were having a sexual relationship since sometime. After the incident, his wife’s relatives came to the spot and tried to attack him alleging that he was trying to “frame her.”
What followed was complaints and counter complaints from both parties. The police has booked a case against Channaiah as per the complaint of his wife’s relatives, and another case against the opposite party following Channaiah’s complaint.
For investigation purpose, higher police officials have attached the accused constable Madhusudhan Reddy to police headquarters.
Channaiah was earlier booked by the police for domestic violence as per his wife’s complaint. The cop, who had to serve the warrant, used to visit Channaiah’s house frequently in the past as part of his official duties.
While Channaiah in his complaint claimed that the policeman came to meet his wife without any official work and was having intimate relations before he locked them inside, the constable said that Channaiah’s wife had called him to give him drinking water.
Chatrinaka police said that they will investigate the case after examining the allegations made by both parties.
“We have got complaints from both parties and an investigation has been launched into the case,” said inspector K. Manoj Kumar.
