Heavy rainfall warning in coastal Andhra Pradesh
As per an IMD bulletin, the low pressure area over East Central Bay Of Bengal
Hyderabad: The Southwest monsoon continues to be active over coastal Andhra Pradesh. Heavy-to-moderate rainfall occurred at many places over the region and in isolated places in Rayalaseema in the last 24 hours.
IMD has issued a heavy rainfall warning for the next three days for isolated places in the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna and Guntur of Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
As per an IMD bulletin, the low pressure area over East Central Bay Of Bengal and neighborhood now lies over west central and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal, off South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh coasts. Under its influence, the coastal AP region will have heavy to moderate rainfall, IMD said.
