In Singapore, Chandrababu Naidu to discuss master-plan of Amaravati
Chennai: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu left for Singapore on Sunday to discuss the details and plans of the new capital Amaravati.
"I am visiting Singapore to plan our new capital Amravati. The Singapore Government agencies have prepared master-plan details. Now, we are requesting them to participate in the construction and promotions of capital Amaravati," Naidu told the media.
"After that meeting, we will get clarity as how Singapore Government is going to help us and how they are going to participate," he added.
Naidu also said that the foundation laying function of Amaravati will take place on October 22.
"After that we will start the construction activities of the government buildings and at the same time the commercial activities like tourism and entertainment will also be taken up in a big way," he added.
According to reports, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister is accompanied by state's Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Municipal Administration Minister P. Narayana, Communications Advisor Parakala Prabhakar and senior officials.
