Bengaluru: A 16-year-old minor was allegedly abducted, sedated and raped by two men in Kengeri, Chandra Layout police station limits. The two were arrested on Saturday. According to the police, the incident allegedly took place on Thursday, when the two men who were said to be known to the survivor abducted her on their bike.
In her statement, the survivor charged that she was taken to an isolated place in Kengeri near the groves and was allegedly sedated before the two raped her. The incident came to light when the rape survivor informed her parents who filed a complaint. “The survivor and her parents approached the police on Friday and alleged that two men took her on a bike to an isolated place and sexually assaulted her. Two special teams were formed and based on her statement, the two men were nabbed. Police are interrogating the two accused,” said Labhu Ram, DCP (West) Division. A case has been registered under the POCSO Act 2012 in Chandra Layout police station.
