Mythological serials with grand sets are always a big hit with telly viewers. After Ramayana and Mahabharatha, the latest one to join the list is Veera Marthandan, a new mythological series that will be aired on Zee Tamil Channel from the coming week. The story is a mythical epic about Khandoba aka Marthanda Bhairava, an avatar of Lord Shiva who is covered in turmeric, three-eyed, and has a crescent moon on his forehead. This show depicts the courage and valour of Khandoba and the love his people shower on him. Apart from portraying the history, teachings and life of Khandoba, the soap also aims to spread knowledge of his values and beliefs. The serial will run on all weekdays at 6 pm on Zee Tamil.
