Looks like Shruti Haasan is on a roll. The actress, who’s awaiting the release of the much-anticipated flick Vijay-starrer Puli, is said to have been approached by director Bhagyaraj Kannan for his next movie, in which Sivakarthikeyan plays the lead. We hear that the movie is bankrolled by the actor’s friend RD Raaja and will have makeup man Sean Foot from the Hollywood, besides PC Sreeram cranking the camera with Anirudh Ravichander composing the music.
Sources say that it was true that talks were on. “Since Shruti’s latest film Srimanthudu is a hit, she’s quite careful with what she’s choosing. She was approached for the film, but she’s not given a nod yet,” added the source. Earlier, there were rumours that Samantha and Ajith’s sister in law Shamilee were also approached for the project. Meanwhile, Shruti has Thala 56, Suriya’s Singam 3 and her Hindi flick John Abraham-starrer Rocky Handsome in her kitty.
