Watch: Vin Diesel features in new trailer for 'The Last Witch Hunter'

A dramatic new trailer for Vin Diesel's ‘The Last Witch Hunter’ has been released. Titled ‘The Awakening’, the promo teases the resurrection of a deadly villain set on "destroying humanity", The Hollywood Reporter said.

In this latest trailer, Vin Diesel goes all out and shows us what he is truly capable of. In 'The Last Witch Hunter', actor Michael Caine is shown as a priest, Vin Diesel as a witch hunter named Kaulder and Rose Leslie from 'Game of Thrones' as a good witch who helps Vin in his conquest. In the film, Vin will be seen fighting the vicious witches in order to protect New York City from a lethal plague.

Kaulder receives unlikely help in the form of a good witch (Rose Leslie of Game of Thrones fame), who can transport people between the real and dream world.

Ciara's cover of the Rolling Stones' classic ‘Paint It Black’, recorded for the film, plays over the trailer as a bearded Diesel brandishes an impressive, flaming sword at his paranormal enemies.

The supernatural action movie will also star Elijah Wood and Michael Caine, as well as Julie Engelbrecht and Joseph Gilgun.

Directed by Breck Eisner, 'The Last Witch Hunter' also stars 'Lord of the Rings' star Elijah Wood, Rena Owen, Julie Engelbrecht and Ólafur Ólafsson amongst others. ‘The Last Witch Hunter’ will be released in USA on October 23, 2015.
