LDF protest politically motivated: Hibi Eden

KOCHI: The LDF protest in the corporation council on Fort Kochi boat accident is politically motivated, legislator Hibi Eden alleged on Friday.

“It is the political bankruptcy of the LDF to organise such protests ahead of the local body polls. While they are on an indefinite hunger strike, a section of LDF workers have blockaded the mayor and women councillors violating democratic values,” alleged the MLA.

“It is condemnable to organise such protests instead of taking joint decisions to avoid such mishaps in future. People will reject their stand,” he added.
