Rajeev Ravi, who has stepped into the role of filmmaker after mesmerizing the film buffs with his excellent frames, could woo the audience with his directorial ventures.
Post Fahadh starrer Annayum Rasoolum and Farhaan’s Njan Steve Lopez, the cinematographer turned auteur is all set to direct Dulquer Salman. According to a source close to the director, the project will start rolling next week in Mumbai. The actor, who is currently acting in Martin Prakat’s Charlie, will join the crew next week itself.
The film is based on the script by penned by actor-director P. Balachandran. It is after a brief gap, Balachandran writes a script for another director. He earlier penned hit films include Ulladakkam, Thacholi Varghese Chekavar, Pavithram, Agnidevan and Punaradhivasam.
“The film which has Shine Tom Chacko and Vinay Fort along with the writer himself in the pivotal roles, will start its second schedule in Kochi from October second week. State award winner Madhu Neelakandan has been roped in as the cinematographer of this yet to be titled film,” according to the source.
