Superstar Rajinikanth and Ajith attend shoot in Mohan Studios

Superstar Rajinikanth’s ongoing film Kabali officially started shooting on the auspicious day of Vinayaga Chaturthi at ECR. While Radhika Apte has been chosen to play Rajini’s wife, dusky babe Dhansika essays the role of his daughter. Directed by Ranjith and produced by Thaanu, sources say that Rajini plays an aged gangster from Malaysia and his daughter Dhansika will be seen as a drug addict in the movie.

Sources add that Rajini has given a huge chunk of dates for the movie and will shoot the film till January end. As we reported first, a major portion of the shooting will take place in Malaysia. The shooting is presently taking place in Mohan Studios, where a huge set resembling an aged don’s house is being erected. Interestingly, Thala Ajith is shooting for his next untitled film with Lakshmi Menon on an adjacent set in the same studio.
