Actress is now making a comeback through the VK Prakash directed film On the Rocks

Manjil Virinja Pookal not only struck gold at the box office but also launched three stars — Poornima Bhagyaraj, Mohanlal and Shankar. And after this extremely successful debut, Poornima went on to act in many more Malayalam and Tamil films till she got married to actor/director Bhagyaraj.
After a long hiatus of 31 years, Poornima is now making a comeback to Malayalam films through the VK Prakash directed film On the Rocks and a source mentions that she would be playing a very important part in the film. Poornima was last seen in the Tamil film Jilla as Mohanlal’s wife. On the Rocks will see the debut of singer Siddharth Menon as the male lead and has Eva Pavithran as the female lead.
