Director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra went back in time during the shooting of Mirziya. Although set mostly in Rajasthan, a few scenes of the film were to be shot in Ladakh — a place Rakeysh had earlier used as the location for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
So when he was at the exquisite location, he made it a point to catch up with those who were closely associated with BMB’s shoot. Said a source, “Rakeyshji had hired a crew from the valley during BMB.
So he organised a reunion of sorts where they all got together and relived the happy moments of shooting the film. It was a celebration, really.”
