Dr Ranjith, an Ayurvedic practitioner in Hyderabad who studied in Mysuru makes his acting debut in Avadhi, a play of God, directed by his friend since class IV, Saikiran. In Telugu, the duo are making it with the title Kathanam.
Sa Ra junior
Anup Sa Ra Govind, the son of Sandalwood personality Sa Ra Govind is debuting in Dove which has been directed by Alemari fame Santhu. The film is set to release in October. The two-and-a-half year project by Harsha Productions also marks Aditi Rao’s maiden project.
Two more for the century
Director Om Saiprakash is back with his 98th film Mana Mechida Bangaru. Debutant actor Bangaru Hanumanthu who is also the producer, hails from an agricultural family. Following humiliation by a senior actor, Bangaru took it as a challenge to launch himself as an actor.
