Suseendhiran’s film to be sent to revising committee?

There’s a lot of expectation from the forthcoming Vil Ambu, which is produced by ace filmmaker Suseendhiran’s home banner. The movie features actors Harish and Sree in the lead roles, with Srushti Dange and Chandini playing the female leads. Directed by debutant Ramesh Subramanian, an insider says that the film will give a different kind of experience to audiences. According to the director, the audiences wouldn’t merely be spectators, but would be drawn into the happenings on screen.

This is the latest on Vil Ambu — the movie was watched by the Regional Censors and was awarded an ‘A’ certificate due to the ‘excessive violence’ in it. If the objectionable scenes were to be edited out, the movie would lose its sheen, says a unit hand. Sources add that Suseendhiran and his team are now mulling over the idea of sending Vil Ambu to the revising committee.
