'Madamji’ is rescheduled, not shelved: Madhur Bhandarkar

Mumbai: After the power packed role of a super model in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Fashion’, Priyanka shares a great bond with the director. Since the time the director has announced his next directorial ‘Madamji’ with Priyanka, the pair has been the talk of B-town. Their fans got a shocker when the news of ‘Madamji’ being shelved was out, how the director cleared the air on the much-hyped film.

According to reports, the film got postponed because Priyanka was busy with 'Quantico' and Madhur was busy shooting for 'Calendar Girls'. He required the actress' dates at a stretch because he wanted to finish the film at one go. As Priyanka couldn't give the dates, the project was rescheduled. She has been juggling between several projects at once. The actress recently completed shooting for 'Jai Gangajal' and is currently shuttling between Mumbai and Los Angeles for her projects- 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Quantico'.

'Madamji' revolves around an item girl who makes a foray into politics and the director has taken lot of references from real UP politics.
