Ranveer Singh isn’t exactly Mr Politically Correct of the film industry, but he left the media and his co-star Deepika Padukone stunned when he said what he said at the launch of a song from Bajirao Mastani.
“Deepika is so beautiful that I’d wait an entire lifetime for her,” he announced unabashedly on stage. When asked what it is that she would wait a lifetime for, a blushing Deepika blurted out, “What? You should first ask him in what context he said that.”
When asked to elaborate on his statement, the actor brushed it off as a ‘wisecrack’ that he used to amuse the media that had been waiting for them a long while.
At this point, an exasperated Deepika said that she doesn’t even know what he is talking about anymore.
We’re not sure about the media, but the lady did not appear to be very pleased.
