Hyderabad: Telangana police has sought custody of alleged Islamic State online recruiter Afsha Jabeen alias Nicky Joseph alias Nicole Joseph. Jabeen was arrested by the Cyberabad police on September 11 from the Rajiv Gandhi Airport in Shamshabad.
Shamshabad DCP A.R. Srinivas said, “We have filed for police custody on Monday. The petition will be coming up for hearing on Tuesday. Our ground for seeking custody is that we didn’t have enough time to question her as she was remanded after arrest.” Telangana police are on the lookout for more men from Hyderabad whom she had allegedly motivated to join IS.
