We hear that Karan Johar extended the olive branch when he appreciated Imran Khan on his performance

Everybody in the industry knows that the debacle of Gori Tere Pyaar Mein had taken a toll over Imran Khan and Karan Johar’s friendship. The two were not on talking terms for a while and the whispers about the growing rift only grew louder when KJo remained absent at Imran’s wife Avantika’s baby shower last year. But if the recent developments are to be considered, the two are nearing reconciliation, it seems.
A source told this paper, “Imran met Karan a few weeks ago — this was before KJo left for the London schedule of his upcoming film. There was no specific agenda to this meeting, but Karan told Imran that he had watched Katti Batti and that he really liked his performance in the film.”
Does this signal a collaboration of the two once again? “That’s not clear yet and it is still a mystery if the two will decide to work with each other in the future. However, as of now nothing is confirmed,” added the source.
Imran has worked with Karan’s Dharma Productions in the past for I Hate Luv Stories, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu apart from Gori Tere Pyaar Mein.
