Deepika Padukone reacts to ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Dilwale’ clash

Pune: Ever since ‘Dilwale' announced their release date along with 'Bajirao Mastani', there has been a lot of speculations about the big clash. When two big films are attached, they do eat into each other's business.

However, Deepika Padukone believes it is not as complicated as it is being written about. She said, "It's very simple, the kind of film they are making and the kind of film which we are working on is completely different. I think ‘Bajirao Mastani’ is so consuming for all of us that we are not thinking about anything else. I think we are horses with blinkers, as we don’t have the time to worry about what others are doing. We have our own deadlines and a release date to work towards. It’s just that in the process some other film has decided to release around the same time. I believe there is space for both the films to release on the same date and do well."

Talking about the screens and the Box Office numbers, Deepika said, "I am not a producer or a distributor so I don’t understand numbers. I don't understand the business of filmmaking. From an actors' point of view, I understand they are two different films."

It will be interesting to sit back and see how the two films find their way into hearts and fare at the box office.
