Cloudy weather causes a delay in Ranveer and Deepika's 'Bajirao' event

Mumbai: While on their way to unveil the first song Gajanana from the film ‘Bajirao Mastani’, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone had a slight change of plans.The chopper that was transporting the actors to their destination in Pune, could not land due to the bad weather, forcing the actors to divert, and use an alternate route.

Ranveer tweeted, “Our chopper cudnt land in2 Pune & we had 2 turn bak! Stupid clouds! Hmph! @deepikapadukone #Gajanana #BajiraoMastani.” (sic)

The actors had to land at the closest airport, and then drove to another hanger and fly to another location to take a chopper to their destination in Pune.

The makers of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ planned to give the film’s first song ‘Gajanana’ the biggest song launch in the country. Ranveer, and Deepika were expected to unveil the first song at Balewadi Stadium in Pune.

To make the occasion special the song will be launched with the biggest human formation of a mosaic image of Lord Ganesha, which will be as huge as 195 ft and is curated from the ‘Gajanana’ song. Reports further reveal that over 5000 students from across the country have been called out to be a part of this grand scale song launch by helping create the formation.
