Motorola launches Moto X Play for Rs 18,499
Motorola launched the mid-range Android smartphone, the Moto X Play, and has competitively priced it at Rs 18,499 for the Indian market. Based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset, the Moto X Play will feature two variants—a 16GB and a 32GB.
The Moto X Play is built around the SD615 chipset with a quad-core 1.7GHz and 1.0GHz quad-core processor and coupled with an Adreno 405 graphics processor. The display is an AMOLED full HD with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels on a 5.5-inch panel with a Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The X Play is supplied with 2GB of RAM and 16/32GB of storage and supports an expansion with up to 128GB. The Moto X Play sports a 21MP primary shooter along with a 5MP secondary camera. The handset supports dual SIM 4G LTE modules and features Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n dual-band wireless networking. The Moto X Play is fuelled by a 3630 mAh battery and features the Android Lollipop v5.1.1 operating system out of the box.
The Motorola Moto X Play will be available at a price of Rs 18,499 for the 16GB variant, and the 32GB version will be priced at Rs 19,999.
